Police man died and eight others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Saturday.

A Gypsy bearing registration number AB-IIX/2264 of 110 Bn. CRPF hit and injured a pedestrian Ravinder Singh son of Charan Singh resident of Nanner, Tral working as a follower in JKAP 12 Bn. near Gas Plant, Pampore, Awantipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

In another accident a Tavera bearing registration number JK01Q/5874 and Load carrier bearing registration number JK05/1495 collided on National Highway near Kanispora, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to three passengers traveling in the Tavera including driver. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/4295 hit and injured a boy namely Suhail Ahmad Hajam age 9 years son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Haker Mohalla, Bemina at Parimpora, Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03C/8241 turned turtle at Kharpora Chitergul, Achabal, resulting in injuries to four persons namely Aijaz Ahmad Shah son of Jahangir Ahmad resident of Chanpora, Chitergul, Manzoor Ahmad Malik son of Hassan Malik resident of Posh Nari, Muneef Ahmad Bhat son of Fayaz Ahmad resident of Posh Nari and Muneera Akhter daughter of Ghulam Rasool Malik resident of Shangus.

However police in a statement informed that all the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment and in all accidents they have registered cases.
