One person died and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
According to police spokesman, a Tipper bearing registration number JK13/3183 hit and injured a cyclist, Imran Ahmad Rather of Lelhar, Kakpora at Kakpora. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK18/0902 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk18/4618 near Pahloo, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist and a pillion. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a truck bearing registration number Jk08A/7155 skidded off the road and fell in a deep gorge at Yatri niwas on NHW. Four persons were injured in this accident. All the injured were shifted to the Hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Truck bearing registration number PB06N/2235 and Maruti Car bearing registration number Jk03/5057 collided near Nowgam Chowk. Two persons traveling in the Maruti car were injured in this incident. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number Jk01T/7696 hit and injured a lady Nazia Akhtar wife of Abdul Hamid Shah resident of Awantipora near Sempora Crossing. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
