One person died while twelve other were injured in separate road accidents across the valley.

According to police spokesman, an Alto K-10 car bearing registration number JK09A/2760 driven by Mohammad Rubani turned turtle near Zalra Mode, Karnah, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment where one of the injured Asmat Fatima resident of Nachian succumbed to her injuries. Karnah police has registered a case in this regard.

Spokesman further said that a Maruti 800 car bearing registration number JK05A/4272 driven by Mohammad Shafi Mir resident of Trehgam hit and injured three pedestrians Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat, Abdul Ahad Sheikh, Saja Begum all residents of Poshpora at Trehgam, Kupwara. All the injured were shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile a vehicle bearing registration number JK09/6335 driven by Syed Iftikhar son of Syed Nazir Ahmed resident of Kachhama hit and injured a lady Zareena Begum resident of Kralpora at Kralpora, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kralpora for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.

In another incident a Sumo bearing registration number JK09/8789 hit and injured three children at Kawari, Trehgam. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.

Police spokesman said that a  Maruti car bearing registration number JK13B/4248 driven by Rayees Ahmed Yatoo son of Nazir Ahmed resident of Patlibagh Pampore hit and injured a boy Kamran Khanday son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Ladoo at Ladoo, Pampore. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Pampore police has registered a case in this regard.

Also the two motorcycles collided at Ishtangoo Aloosa, Bandiproa resulting in injuries to Farooq Ahmad resident of Watpora, Bandipora and Mohammad Yaseen Kawa son of Abdul Kahliq resident of Larwanipora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.
