One person died while another was injured in two different road traffic accidents in the valley, police said on Tuesday.
One person Shahid Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rashid resident of Matipora, Srigufwara who was injured on 9/10/2013 when he was hit by a Wagon-R car bearing registration number Jk13C/1232 at Chenni Wooder, Poshkreeri, Islamabad. The injured succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar. A case has already been registered in this regard.
In another case an unidentified Sumo hit and seriously injured a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Tikker, at Sahtpora Hyhama, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
