One person died while six others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police said.
In Kulgam a motorcycle driven by Abid Hussain Matoo son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of waltango Kund, Qazigund skidded of the road near Razoo hospital Qazigund, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured succumbed to injuries while on way hospital.
An Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK18-2977 collided with a motorcycle near Yaripora D.H Pora, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Shabir Ahmad Malik resident of Homepathri. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Islamabad, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13C-4677 driven by Pervaiz Ahmad Bhat resident of Marhama met with an accident near Donipora Sangam Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Shahzad Ahmad Bhat resident of Marhama. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment where from Pervaiz Ahmad was referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
In Budgam, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK04C-5385 met with an accident at Satmulla Loolipora Chrar-i-Sharif, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Bashir Ahmad Khanday and pillion mate Showkat Hussain Dar residents of Loolipora, Chadoora. Both the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
A Maruti car bearing registration number JK01U-3991 driven by Mohammad Maqbool Dar resident of Gogoo hit and injured a Pedestrian Mst Sara resident of Rayar Yach Khan Sahib. The injured shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
