One youth was critically injured in Raidwain Kulgam on Thursday when government forces opened fire on protesters, said an eyewitness.
The injured has been identified as Amir Lone, a teenager, son of Mohammad Altaf Lone resident of Raidwain Kulgam in south Kashmir.
Eyewitness told Kashmir Life over phone, “A bullet hit the boy in his throat and he was profusely bleeding when he was shifted to district hospital Bijhbehara.”
The boy was later referred to SKIMS in Srinagar in critical condition.
The doctors at SKIMS told Kashmir Life, “Amir is stable.”
Today Kashmir valley was shut on a protest call given by the separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani over the killing of a 27 year old youth, Rafiq Ahmad Rather in Shopian on Wednesday.
