As per a police spokesperson two persons died and four others were injured in different road accident across the valley on Friday.
A Tipper bearing registration number PB-10-PC/1133 hit S Surinder Raj, a Manager working for Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), Gurez Bandipora resident of Tamil Nadu in a tunnel at Dam site in Gurez. He died on the spot. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tractor bearing registration number 2154/JK03B turned turtle at Dangerpora, Padgampora Awantipora, resulting in injuries to four persons. Among the injured 45 years old Hafeeza wife of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Padgampora died on her way to the hospital. The body of deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Awantipora Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number 0721/JK03A hit and injured a pedestrian Amina Begum age about 55 years resident of Teelwani at Teelwani. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
