AccidentTwo persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Budgam, police said.

In Srinagar, a Swift car bearing registration number JK01V-0016 driven by Mudasir Mushtaq Rather resident of Padshahi Bagh, Srinagar hit and injured a pedestrian Habib-ul-lah Mir resident of Mamath, Budgam at Town Square Gogjibagh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a three-wheeler bearing registration number JK04B-8365 and a Sumo bearing registration number JK01R-6624 collided at Zaloosa in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chrar-i-Sharief, resulting in injuries to a pedestrian Nasreena Majid resident of Rozibal Chrar-i-Sharief. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Bandipora, a Sumo bearing registration number JK05B-1776 driven by Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar resident of Banyari slipped and fell into river Jehlum at Ghulam Yari in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal. Police rescued all the passengers boarding the vehicle. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.
