A 40 years old woman (name withheld) resident of Kerawa Colony Bijbehara set herself ablaze after pouring K-Oil on her body. The lady has been shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Anantnag Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, an unknown lady jumped in the river Jhelum from Cement Bridge in district Baramulla. Baramulla police was putting its efforts to fish out the body of the lady.
In Kupwara, a 22 years old girl (name withheld) resident of Manzhar Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. The girl was shifted to the SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured in a road accident in Nowgam area here last evening.
An accident took place between a Santro car bearing registration number JK13B-8157 and a Maruti 800 bearing registration number JK01G-0462 at Sathoo Kalan Nowgam, resulting in injuries to both the drivers. The injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Srinagar Police has registered a case in this regard.
