Sessions court Shopian convicted three accused including a father son duo for murdering a person in 2007.
The court of Principle Sessions Shopian convicted three accused Rashid Wani son of Ahsan Wani, Sajad Ahmad Wani son of Rashid Wani both residents of Heerpora, Shopian and Rafiq Takad son of Juma Takad resident of Rajouri for murdering Yaseen Wani son of Habibullah Wani resident of Heerpora, Shopian in 2007.
The prosecution put up a strong case against the three accused who had allegedly assaulted the victim when he was offering Isha Azaan in a local Masjid on June 1, 2007. The court heard the prosecution and the defense in the murder case FIR number 92/2007 under section 302, 34 RPC of police station Shopian, Tuesday. The prosecution succeeded in bringing home the charge of 302 against all three accused who have been convicted by Session Court Shopian. The argument for the verdict have been scheduled on October 10, 2013
