Three Ghat Munshi’s were arrested in Srinagar city for violating the recent Government order for distribution of free ration to the flood affected people.
As per a police statement, 03 Ghat Munshi’s were booked under section 188 RPC, under FIR no. 80/2014 in Police Station Sher Garhi, 131/2014 in Police station Batamaloo and 85/2014 Police Station Shaheed Gunj.
Meanwhile, state police has appealed public to report any violation with regard to essential commodities to the nearest police station so that action under law can be taken against the offenders and such violation can be effectively checked.
