Four persons were injured in a road accident in Kupwara while two persons got drowned in Kargil, a police statement said on Saturday.
A Bolero vehicle bearing registration number JK10A/1202 rolled down into River Suru at Sangra Bridge, Kargil. In this accident two persons who were boarding the vehicle got drowned. Among the two persons one was rescued while another one is still missing. Police has registered a case in this regard and efforts are on to find another one.
Meanwhile, a Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK09/8110 skidded off the road at Bomhama, Kupwara resulting in injuries to 04 passengers. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
