Four persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley, police said Tuesday.

“In Srinagar, a Sumo bearing registration number JK01L/2584 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01W/1039 at Shalteng Chowk, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Mudasir Ahmad Wani and pillion mate Sajad Ahmed Malik resident of Palpora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesperson said in a statement.

“In Anantnag, a motorcycle driven by Himayon Imtiyaz resident of Anchidoora hit and injured a pedestrian Adfar Majeed resident of Badermuna near Dooru College in the jurisdiction of Police Station Dooru. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.”

In Ganderbal, a Sumo bearing registration number JK03/3572 hit a tractor bearing registration number JK16/6034 on National Highway Byepass Behihama in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lar, resulting in injuries to tractor driver Nazir Ahmed Waza resident of Manigam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard, the police spokesperson said.
