Four structures were damaged in different fire incidents in valley, police said on Thursday.
During the intervening night of March 19-20, 2013, fire broke out in the house of Abdul Rashid Sheikh and Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, sons of Rafiqudin Sheikh resident of Khudi, Sheikh Mohalla, Kupwara, resulting in damage to the house, two sheep also died in the incident. However, no loss of human life was reported in this incident.
In another incident fire broke out in the house of Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Gull Mohammad and cowshed and kitchen of Qadir Dar son of Abdullah resident of Raithan, Budgam, in which all the structures gutted completely. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident. Cause of fire is being ascertained.
