05 CRPF Men Injured In Accident

As per a police spokesperson six persons including five CRPF personnel were injured in different road accidents in Valley on Tuesday.

A Gypsy of 82 Bn. CRPF bearing registration number JK01M/8716 while on way from Sonamarg to Srinagar met an accident at Gagangeer Hung Park, Ganderbal. Five CRPF personnel were injured in the mishap. The injured persons have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

In another accident during the intervening night of September 15 and 16, a stolen Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/7842 turned turtle at Panzalpora Larnoo, Anantnag, resulting in damage to the vehicle. The Sumo had been stolen from village Wandevalgam, Kokernag by some unidentified persons. However, vehicle lifters fled away from the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.

In another accident a Tractor driven by Bilal Ahmad Wagay son of Ali Mohammad resident of Sadunara, Sumbal skidded off the road near village Badugam, Bandipora, resulting in injuries to driver. The injured was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
