Five persons were injured in two different road accidents in district Anantnag and Kupwara.
In Anantnag, a CRPF vehicle and a Swift car bearing registration number JK01N-4000 collided near Shani Petrol Pump Sangam Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to two CRPF persons, swift car driver and his wife. All the injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing chassis number MDLJF- 328DF9K11511 at Shalpora Crossing Drugmulla resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Ghulam Rasool Mochi resident of Magam Handwara. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a man was injured after he received eclectic shock in Kupwara last evening.
An 18 years old Shaid Ahmad Chopan son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Chopan Mohalla Kunan, Trehgam in Kupwara District received electric shock at his home. He was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara where doctors declared him brought dead. After completion of legal formalities body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
