Six persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Kulgam, a Bus bearing registration number JK03-2111 hit a vehicle of 18th Bn. CRPF bearing registration number WB-396876 at Gufbal Quiomoh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam, resulting in injuries to 04 persons including three CRPF persons. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Saleema Begum resident of Dringla at Dringla Teetwal. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Srinagar, a Truck bearing registration number JK02G-5962 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Hassan Rather resident of Chattergam at Chattergam near Government Hospital Nowgam. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a minor drowned in a Nallah in Baramulla district.
A 3 years old Sakina daughter of Ali Mohammad Malla resident of Baliharan Mirgund Pattan drowned in Nallah Sukhnag at Baliharan Pattan. The body of deceased girl was fished out and handed over to her relatives for last rites.
