In native village of Afzal Guru, Mazbugh Sopore seven people were injured during clashes with police. Since early morning protesters resorted to stone pelting to which police retaliated. Allegedly one person has bullet injury in his eye.

Meanwhile police rounded up 12 boys from Beerwah Budgam against whom reportedly there are cases of stone pelting registered in 2008 and 2010.

Locals while talking to Kashmir Life said that after two years, police came and arrested them on pretext of cases lodged in 2008 and 2010, even though the boys have already tendered apology earlier.

“The boys are in police station and we are worried,” said a local while talking to Kashmir Life.

In other incident of clashes, protesters engaged police in ding dong battle in Bugam village of district Kulgam.
