Continuing its drive against the drug peddlers, Kupwara police has arrested eight drug peddlers and recovered Heroine, brown sugar and charas from their instance.
Acting on specific information, Kupwara police arrested eight drugs peddlers from Karnah area and main town Kupwara. A kilogram of Heroine, 1.5 Kilogram brown sugar and three kilograms of Charas were recovered on their instance.
During the initial investigation it surfaced that four people who have been arrested from Karnah used to smuggle the narcotics from across the LOC. Kupwara police has registered a case and investigation has been taken up.
