One person has died and seven others have suffered injuries in a road accident near Pouni area in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir Monday.
A police official told Kashmir Life over phone that a vehicle bearing registration no JK20 2752, fell into 100-meter deep gorge near Sandoor bridge in Pouni area. “The vehicle was carrying labourers to a construction site at Domail near Shiv Khori shrine.”
The driver of the vehicle has succumbed to injuries on way to Jammu hospital. He was identified as Dheeraj son of Gori Shanker resident of Taryath Rajouri.
The police official said that the vehicle wasw carrying 7 passengers two from UP and 5 from MP. “Three among the injured were referred to Jammu hospital,” he said.
