Srinagar
One person died and other fourteen were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A Motorcyclist Zahid Ahmad Khan son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Wazir Bagh, Srinagar hit a cyclist Mohammad Ismail Bhat, age 60 years, son of Lal Bhat resident of Khankah Bagh, Pampore near Lasjan bridge, Srinagar. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where Mohammad Ismail Bhat succumbed to his injuries.
In another accident, an Alto Car bearing registration number JK05A/9438 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05C/0925 driven by Naveed Qureshi son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Old Town, Baramulla, near Eco Park, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Naveed Qureshi. The injured has been shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment.
Near Toll Post Baramulla, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK05C/8216 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/132, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Basharat Ahmad, age 30 years, son of Bashir Ahmad and two pillion mates Faisal Ahmad Lone age 25 years, son of Ajaz Ahmad and Javid Ahmad Lone, age 26 years, son of Ghulam Mohidin all residents of Konchipora, Baramulla. All the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment
In another accident, a Santro Car bearing registration number JK02L/1206 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05C/2613 near Wusan, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Manzoor Ahmad Zargar son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Chandilora and pillion mate Mohammad Yousuf Wani son of Mohammad Sidiq resident of Waripora, Kunzer. Both the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment.
A Spark Car bearing registration number JK01R/7727 and Alto Car bearing registration number JK05A/5507 collided at Umerabad National Highway, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to four persons who have been traveling in Alto Car. All the injured have been shifted to JVC, Bemina Srinagar for treatment.
In another accident, a Tavera bearing registration number JK01N/3205 hit and injured a pedestrian Waheed Akbar Wani son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Pethseer Sopore near Lalad National Highway, Sopore. The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment, where from he has been referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
In Bandipora, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01G/1520 rolled down at village Doodwan, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Waheed Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Ahad and two pillion mates Ajaz Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan and Sajad Ahmad Ganie son of Jalal Ahmad all residents of Hajin, Bandipora. All the injured have been shifted to JVC, Bemina, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
According to police, in all cases have been registered in all the accidents.
