One person died while as another was injured in two different road accidents across the valley.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01V/2623 driven by Safeer Ahmad son of Laldin resident of Nichia, Karnah hit a pedestrian Sheer Zaman Khan son of Kaloo Khan resident of Kandi Karnah at Kandi Karnah. The pedestrian died on spot in this accident. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01C/4178 driven by Javid Iqbal Rather son of Abdul Salam Rather resident of Hanjoora, Chadoora rammed into an electric pole at Ichkoot, in Budgam. The driver was injured in this mishap who was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
