SRINAGAR
One person died while ten others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Tuesday.
A Tractor without registration number hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A-8529 near Emergency hospital Qazigund, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Irfan Ahmad Misgar son of Farooq Ahmad Misgar resident of Mir Maidan, Dooru. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a Wagon R vehicle bearing registration number JK04-94 and an Innova vehicle bearing registration number JK02A-0019 collided at Frestbal, in Pampore. In this accident five persons Reyaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Rawalpora, Danish Ahmad Dar resident of Jawahar Nagar, Junaid Ahmad Khan resident of Nowgam, Sheikh Nisar resident of Kursoo Rajbagh and Aqib Khan resident of Peer Bagh, Srinagar were injured. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01P-8273 while coming from Narbal to Srinagar hit an Alto car bearing registration number JK05E-7509 at Shalteng, in Parimpora, Srinagar. Five persons Ishfaq Ahmad Lone, Junaid Nazir Lone, Sahil Nazir Lone, Raza Akhter and Jawhira resident of Bomay, Sopore were injured in this mishap. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
