SRINAGAR
One person died while twelve others were injured in separate road accidents, police said on Thursday.
A Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK07/2511 skidded off the road at Pasgo Nala near Apati, Kargil, resulting in on spot death of Gulzar Hussain son of Ghulam Hussain resident of Kako Shilikchay and injuries to 7 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK13/0875 driven by Reyaz Ahmad Sofi resident of Keegam collided with another Maruti car bearing registration number JK13A/9169 near Poterwal, Shopian, resulting in the injuries to 5 persons. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
