One person dies while as two others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Wednesday.
A tipper bearing registration number JK02AJ-6801 hit a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Wani Mohalla Mandak Pal at Putlabur, in Khrew, Pampore resulting in his on spot death.
Meanwhile, a LP truck bearing registration number JK05A/6065 rolled down at Khudpora Nard, in Karnah resulting in injuries to Abdul Qayoom Awan son of Mohammad Younis Awan resident of Nawagabra, Karnah. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01N/9932 driven by Shakeel Ahmed Magray son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Thune collided with a Figo car bearing registration number JK16/2485 resulting in injuries to the Maruti car driver. He was shifted to hospital for treatment.
