One person died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Tuesday.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK15/2447 hit a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01T/3900 at Baroosa, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to two persons boarded in the car.

Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Ganderbal for treatment, where from injured Ghulam Nabi Parray son of Ghulam Qadir succumbed to his injures and another injured was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.

A Van bearing registration number JK18/2548 hit and injured a pedestrian Majid Ahmed Ahanger son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Falthru Changoo at Dooru, Islamabad. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.

A Sumo bearing registration number JK07/675 hit a cyclist at Margund, Ganderbal, resulting in the injuries of two boys. The injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, and Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02W/5832 and a Maruti Van bearing registration number PBI0BW/5656 collided on Highway near petrol pump Mirbazar, resulting in injuries to van driver. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
