SRINAGAR: At least ten animals were charred to death in a fire incident that broke out in Ujhan village of Rajouri’s Darhal Tehsil.
Quoting locals the news agency KNO reported that the fire broke out in the intervening night of Friday-Saturday and flames engulfed the cattle shed of a local man identified as Mohammad Riyaz, son of Bashir Hussain of Ujhan, which caused extensive damage to the structure.
In the incident, six goats and four other animals including buffaloes were charred to death, leaving the family devastated.
Local also demanded immediate financial aid to the victim family.
