SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed 10 Junior Scale JKAS officers at the disposal of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, for duties related to the first International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir, scheduled from September 7 to 10, 2026.
The deployment was ordered by the General Administration Department through Government Order No. 1423-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated August 21, 2026.
The officers have been assigned for utilisation of their services in connection with the four-day festival and have been directed to report to the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, on August 31 for briefing on their duties and responsibilities.
Those deployed include Tahir Mohi-ud-din Wani, posted as DTWO, Ganderbal; Mehraj ud-din Wani, STO, Circle Baramulla-II; Sajad Ahmad Bhat, DSWO, Baramulla; and Sameer Ahmad Dar, Assistant Director in the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Kashmir.
The list also includes Zeeshan Elyas, Functional Manager, DIC, Srinagar; Sheikh Hemayun Javaid, Assistant Director, Handicrafts and Handlooms Department; Danishwar Shaffi, ETO, Excise Range Srinagar-Budgam-Ganderbal; and Younis Bashir, STO, Circle O, Srinagar.
Oowais Bin Ahad, BDO, Keller, Shopian, and Mohammad Muqsit Wani, BDO, Khonmoh, with headquarters at Panthachowk, are also among the officers deployed.
