SRINAGAR
Ten structures were damaged in separate fire incidents across the valley, police said on Thursday.
As per a statement fire broke out in a three storied residential house of Ghulam Mohi-ud- Din Kabree son of Late Ahmad Shah at Shamaswari Fatehkadal, Srinagar which engulfed two nearby houses, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire was brought under control.
In another incident fire broke out in a building of Abdul Aziz Sheikh son of Abdul Salam Sheikh at Chokibal Bazar, Kupwara. In this incident five shops were damaged. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police.
In another case fire broke out in two storied residential house of Wali Rehman Qureshi son of Khal Shah resident of Kalti Babanagri Ganderbal, resulting in partial damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and local police, reads the statement.
