As the one house has passed on day four in the on-going Autumn session of state legislature, the “business” is “going-On” with no one occupying opposition benches. However, foot-in-mouth, independent legislator, Er Rashid is sitting listening to question.

With question hour already passed now and PDP-BJP lawmakers discussing issues in “zero hour”, Rashid was seen leaving his seat and talking to PHE Minister, Sukhnandan. Rashid has a ‘hard talk’ with the minister early today.

Once again, the BJP legislators raised the issue of education sector and in Jammu division and demanded a separate discussion over the issue. On this, CM Mufti Sayeed intervened and assured action.

Communist legislator, MY Tarigami and Hakeem Yaseen too are not in the house. Speaker had tasked Tarigami, along with legislature secretary, to mediate with National Conference member and get them back to lower house. The NC members are on Sit-In outside legislative complex demanding discussion on Article 35 A. The Speaker had suspended its two members yesterday, however, after CM Mufti and opposition members including Congress, Tarigami and Hakeem, the suspension was revoked.
