SRINGAR: A boy was critically injured after a kacha house collapsed on Sunday morning in Bhatadhurian village, Gursai, following heavy rainfall.
An official said that the incident occurred in the village at Bhatadhurian where the house belonged to Mohd Sharief Khan, son of Said Mohd Khan.
The heavy rainfall in the area caused the structure to collapse, he said, adding that the owner’s son, Ghulam Mustafa, aged 12–13 years, sustained serious injuries in the collapse.
Family members promptly shifted the injured boy to GMC Rajouri for medical attention, where his condition is stated to be critical, the official added. (KNC)
