SRINAGAR: At a special camp that Kashmir Press Club and the Department of Health jointly organised, around 130 scribes were given the first shot of the Covid19 vaccine.
The camp was held at the Kashmir Press Club Srinagar and the scribes had registered in anticipation.
“Ths is the second such camp,” Shuj ul Haq, the KPC president said. “Last time, 120 journalists were given the first vaccine shot.” He said the process will continue and in the coming days as well.
Kashmir journalists have been working tirelessly throughout. A number of them were infected by the contagion in the last year and they all managed to defeat the disease.
However, a section of them is still not innoculated. Earlier, they had participated in the GMC survey about the presence of antibodies before the vaccine arraived.
