Due to recent heavy rain and snow, fourteen structures collapsed in North and South Kashmir, a police statement said on Wednesday.
The statement said that residential house of Ghulam Qadir son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Beighpora, Awantipora collapsed due to heavy rain/snow.
In another incident, seven residential houses in which about 13 families were residing and five cowsheds collapsed at village Laridoora, in Chandoosa, Baramulla, resulting in death of 51 cattle.
Another joint residential house of Fayaz Ahmad Doom and Ali Mohammad Doom sons of Abdul Khaliq collapsed at Doompora, Lalpora, in Kupwara.
However, no loss of human lives was reported in these incidents, police said.
