Fourteen structures including a Middle School were damaged in separate fire incidents in the valley.
Fire broke out in Middle School Kalipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam, Handwara, resulting in damage to the school. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in the residential house of Sonam Targies resident of Mulbekh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kargil, resulting in damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders.
In another incident, fire broke out in the market near Shalimar Garden in the jurisdiction of Police Station Harwan, Srinagar, resulting in damage to twelve shed type shops. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
However no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
