SRINAGAR: Two teachers and 14 students of a Madrassa (seminary) were hospitalised after reportedly experiencing food poisoning following a meal at a house in Poonch district on Tuesday, officials said.
At around 20:15 hours, it was reported that the individuals from a Madrassa located in Narol Mendhar exhibited symptoms of food poisoning after having dinner at the residence of a local resident in Banola village.
The teachers and students were subsequently shifted to SDH Mendhar for medical treatment. “All of them are stable and remain under observation at SDH Mendhar,” the officials informed. (GNS)
