15 Injured in Road Accidents

AccidentFifteen persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley, a police spokesperson informed.

In Baramulla, a Tipper bearing registration number JK05C-8077 driven by Abdul Majid Mir resident of Batangi Boniyar and a Sumo bearing registration number JK05D-0629 driven by Ashaq Hussain Mir collided with each other on National Highway near B.Ed College in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sheeri, resulting in injuries to eleven passengers boarding the Sumo. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, a Tavera bearing registration number JK01T-0840 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Khan resident of Rajbagh turned turtle near Kullan in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gund, resulting in injuries to three passengers. All the injured were shifted to Public Health Center Kullan and were discharged after receiving first aid. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.

In Bandipora, a Sumo bearing registration number JK05A-6696 hit and injured a minor girl Iqra Bano resident of Deslipora at Deslipora, Pattan in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal. The injured girl was shifted to JVC hospital for treatment. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.
