SRINAGAR: A 16-year-old boy was injured after accidentally sustaining a gunshot injury at his residence in Anwarabad Salkoot area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that the incident occurred when the teenager was accidentally hit by a shot fired from a licensed bore gun kept at home.
He said the injured was immediately shifted to sub-district hospital (SDH) Kupwara, where he was provided initial treatment before being referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical care.
