A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home at Lalbazar area of Srinagar City, a police official said Monday.
A 16-year-old girl (name with held) of Budshah Mohalla in Hamza Lane, Lalbazar, hanged herself inside her home this on Sunday, the official told GNS. The family members of the girl, after spotting her hanging inside the room, immediately rushed her to the nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under 174 Cr.Pc and taken up further investigations in this regard, the official added.
