Forces on Thursday called off 17-hour long Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at Tral village in southern part of Kashmir’s Pulwama district after no contact was made with any militant, reports said.

“Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operations at Seer Jageer village on Wednesday evening after inputs about the presence of militants in the village,” they said.
Pertinently, forces have started conducting CASO especially in southern parts of Kashmir on the pattern of nineties.
