Seventeen persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Sopore, police informed Monday.
“In Islamabad, a Cruiser bearing registration number JK17/3156 on way from Kishtwar towards Vailoo Kokernag fell into a gorge near Beacon Gate Duksum, Kokernag in district Anantnag, resulting in injuries to 16 persons boarding the vehicle,” the spokesperson said. “All the injured have been shifted to the Hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.”
In Sopore, a Load Carrier (407) bearing registration number JK13/3100, Tipper bearing registration number JK05A/7662 and a Scorpio bearing registration number JK01K/0333 met with an accident at Sangrama, Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to the driver of Load Carrier Mohammad Ashraf Dar resident of Kanihama Magam Budgam. The injured has been shifted to the Hospital for treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
