SRINAGAR: A 17-year-old boy died after being hit by a truck in Wathwora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday, officials said.
An official said the teenager sustained critical injuries after being hit by the truck and was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, the official said.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Faheem Teli, 17, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Teli, a resident of Wathwora, Chadoora.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation, officials said. (KNO)
