SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare, Kashmir Division, has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 171 field officials as part of a major administrative exercise aimed at improving departmental efficiency and streamlining operations.
The transfers and postings were ordered through Agriculture Order No. 58/Estt of 2026, issued on June 3, 2026, and involve 171 field-level officials, including Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEOs), In-Charge JAEOs and Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs) posted across various agricultural zones and sub-divisions in Kashmir.
The directive comprehensively details the transition of officials from their existing stations to newly assigned jurisdictions, beginning with the standard Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEO) shifts.
A total of 38 standard JAEO personnel have been reassigned across critical belts, including Mubashir Sultan, who moves from Zone and Sub Division Baramulla to Nowshara Zone, Uri Sub Division; Suhail Bashir Kar, who relocates within Baramulla to the Rohama Zone and Sub Division; Ruqaya Rasheed, who shifts from Janbanzpora (Baramulla) to Sopore (Sopore); Irfan Ahmad Rather, who travels from Janbanzpora (Baramulla) to Wagoora (Baramulla); and Muzamil Fayaz, who transitions from Kachumuqam (Baramulla) to Langate (Handwara, Kupwara). Additionally, Rajpal Singh Salyal moves from Kreeri (Baramulla) to Lagama (Uri); Salma Firdous leaves Janbanzpora (Baramulla) for Sheeri (Baramulla); Firdous Ahmad Moon shifts from Sheeri (Baramulla) to Hanjiwara (Pattan); Zameer Ahmad Shah leaves Kachumuqam (Baramulla) for Dangiwacha (Rohama); Gurdeep Singh relocates from Sheeri (Baramulla) to Panzulla (Rohama); Shabir Ahmad Bhat changes from Kachumuqam (Baramulla) to Nambla (Uri); and Mohammad Iqbal Mir leaves Wagoora (Baramulla) for Chandanwari (Uri).
