18 injured in road mishaps

Eighteen persons were injured in different road accident across the Kashmir valley.

According to police a Tata mobile Load carrier hit and injured a 12 year old boy Sajad Ahmad son of Khadim Hussain resident of Zamboora, Pattan at Zamboora Uri. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile,  a Tavera bearing registration number JK01Q/6458 hit a motor cycle bearing registration number JK15/2314 at Nadihal on Srinagar Bandipora road resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Irshad Ahmad Dar and pillion Shabir Ahmad resident of Gohal, Tangpora Sumbal. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for treatment, police added.

In an another accident, a Tata Mini Bus bearing registration number JK03/5146 turned turtle near Paibug crossing, in Mattan, resulting in injuries to 13 passengers. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad for treatment.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK04A/8614 hit a Van bearing registration number JK03C/2782 at Sanat Nagar bypass crossing, in Srinagar resulting in injuries to two persons Firdous Bashir Murad son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Hayat Pora Chadoora and Altaf Ahmad Sofi son of Assadullah Sofi resident of Wanbal.  Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
