An 18-year-old boy was injured on Saturday night after the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

Reports said that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday armies of India and Pakistan traded fire in Pukharni village. The incident resulted in injuries to an 18-year-old boy identified as Mohammad Ishaq son of Mohammad Riaz, a resident of Pokharni, Nowshera.

Soon after the incident, the injured boy was evacuated to a nearby hospital for the treatment.
