Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday said that 19005 number of industrial units are registered with district industries Centre in various districts of Kashmir valley both in organized and unorganized sectors.
In a written reply to a question of NC legislator Abdul Majeed Larmi, the minister in charge industry and commerce in the legislative assembly said that 1514 organized sector industries units and 17491 unorganized sectors of industries units are registered in Kashmir.
He said that land measuring 58 Kanals comprising of 47.75 lakh of state land and 10.25 Kanals of proprietary land has been acquired at Malwan area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district for development of Industrial State.
