A two-day free medical check-up camp organized together by J&K bank and Medanta, the Medicity, a Gurgoan based multi-specialty hospital concluded on Tuesday at University of Jammu.
Around 5000 patients from across Jammu, particularly from rural areas benefited from this camp.
On the second day of the camp, a large number of patients visited for free consultations.
While expressing his satisfaction over smooth conduct and success of the camp, R.K Gupta, director J&K bank said, “on behalf of J&K Bank I thank Dr Trehan and his team, doctors who volunteered for managing OPD, Para-medical staff and other volunteers for making this camp a grand success.”
Taking a lead from success of this event, we hope to conduct more such camps in future, he further added.
“Conducting such camps is a blessing for under-privileged people like me,” said a senior citizen during the camp.
The Bank’s president, O P Sharma expressed his satisfaction over smooth conduct of this camp.“As a responsible corporate citizen of the state, J&K bank has always remained at the forefront in bringing comfort to the people,” sais Sharma
He thanked all the people associated with smooth and successful conduct of the camp.
