Two persons died while four others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Tuesday.
A Truck bearing registration number JK13B/7292 hit a Scooter bearing registration number JK01E/1088 at Kadlabal Chowk Pampore resulting on spot death of 50 years old Haseena wife of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Kadlebal, Pampore and injuries to Scooter rider Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Kadlabal.
Meanwhile, a 55 years old Khati resident of Khatipora Tangmarg died after she was hit by a Bus bearing registration number JK02P/8289 at Putikhan, in Tarzoo.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02B-2289 rammed into an electric pole at Griaj on Highway, in Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to Shaheena daughter of Mohammad Amin and Mehru Nissa wife of Mohammad Amin. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK22-0066 hit a motorcycle bearing registration JK11-8486 at Rajpora crossing, in Pulwama resulting in injuries to both the motorcyclist and pillion Mohammad Elyass and Mohammad Shafi residents of Manjakote, Rajouri. Both the injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
