SRINAGAR

Two persons died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Friday.

A Load Carrier bearing registration number JK04/0433 turned turtle at village Charhara, Budgam, resulting in injuries to five persons Dilshada wife of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Hardu Malpora Beerwah, Tanveer Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Rashid , Abdul Rashid Malla son of Abdul Rehman , Ghulam Mohammad Malla residents of Hardu, Malpora, Beerwah, and Fayaz Ahmad Ganie son of Akbar Ganie resident of Hanjilawaypora Beerwah.

 All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment where Dilshada and Ghulam Mohammad Malla succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK04A/9401 collided with a Piagio Auto bearing registrationJK04C/0433 near police station Khan Sahab,  resulting in injuries to Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Ali Mohammad resident of Chitro Dangerpora Budgam. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.

In another accident, a Army vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Sadaf Sadiq Wagay daughter of Mohammad Sadiq Wagay resident of Sodnara, Bandipora at Nasbal, Bandipora in Sumbal. The injured girl was shifted to hospital for treatment.
