State Vigilance Organization (SVO) on Tuesday caught two revenue officials (patwaris) red handed for accepting bribe in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told GNS that Ashiq Hussain and Bashir Ahmad posted in Humhama and Damundar area were reportedly accepting bribe to benefit some notorious land brokers.
Sources also said that Police has tightened its noose on treacherous and fraud land brokers by booking one infamous land dealer Nazir Ahmad Dar from Parraypora ten days ago as he was wanted in more than five cases of cheating and fraud. “He is presently lodged in Central Jail, Srinagar.”
