Two policemen sustained injuries after motorcycle borne youth hurled a grenade on police naka party in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district Monday evening, police said.
“A joint Police/Army Naka was established at Juhama, Baramulla for routine area domination. At about 1850 hours one motorcycle approached from opposite side and while seeing the Naka Party made an about turn. While being challenged to stop one among the two militants riding the motor cycle hurled a grenade towards the Naka Party. Two policemen received minor injuries. Area has been cordoned,” police said in a statement.
